Meta and Microsoft Introduces Llama 2
Meta, in collaboration with Microsoft, is proud to unveil the highly anticipated evolution of Llama, heralding the arrival of the next generation.
Meta has made a strong entry into the artificial intelligence space with the official release of the commercial version of its open-source AI model, Llama. Partnering with Microsoft, Llama 2 will now be available through Microsoft’s Azure cloud service.
Llama 2 is free for research and commercial use.
This new release model work on ranging from 7B to 70B parameters.
Earlier this was only limited to a select group of academics for research purposes. Mark Zuckerberg mentioned that Llama 2 will now be accessible to broad set of companies and people across tech, academia, and policy.
